Through Gaytravel Net's online interactive information reservation distribution system for gay men, women, lesbian travelers, allowing you to make individual reservations for gay men's, women, lesbian owned and 'Gay/Lesbian Friendly' accommodation, plus rental car hire, train and airline travel within Europe.

Gaytravel Net Europe will be making available accommodation that may not be necessary 'Gay/Lesbian Friendly' as defined by Gaytravel Net in association with Gay Tourism New Zealand, New Zealand Gay Lesbian Tourism Association and Gay and Lesbian Tourism Australia. Where possible, those straight accommodation or tourism providers who meet the meet the criteria of being 'Gay/Lesbian Friendly' or Rainbow Tourism Accredited' will be marked accordingly.

On 1 October 2004, Gaytravel Net introduced the 'Rainbow Tourism Accreditation' brand to help gay/lesbian travelers to identify those tourism operators who have a genuiue acceptance of gay/lesbian lifestyle. The 'Rainbow Tourism Accreditation' brand is based on New Zealand's gay and lesbian tourism industry's 'Approved Gay/lesbian Friendly' programme which was introduced in 1998.

Working hard to maintain standards of business amongst tourism operators in Europe, is the International Gay Lesbian Travel Association (IGLTA).

Your help in supporting those tourism Operators who are members of International Gay Lesbian Travel Association (IGLTA) or who are 'Rainbow Tourism Accredited' would be appreciated.
