Farewell Spit

Located 3 hour drive from Nelson, Takaka is located at the western end of the Abel Tasman National Park and the Kahurangi National Park.

Takaka is known for its alternative lifestyle, craftspeople, golden sand beaches and laid back country lifestyle.
