Vehicles are also covered by the Automobile Association 24-Hour Roadside Assistance scheme for your own peace of mind. All car rental charges include unlimited kilometres, comprehensive insurance ($750 deductible/excess) and all NZ taxes. Please note that all rates displayed on our Vehicles and Rates page require a minimum four day hire period. Discounts also apply for long term hires. Our locations throughout New Zealand are situated in Auckland Airport, Auckland Central, Wellington, Picton, Christchurch, Nelson and Queenstown. One Way Hires If you wish to explore both the North and South Islands we are able to offer you a free vehicle exchange to save the cost of transporting the vehicle on the ferry. Just return your initial rental car to either Picton or Wellington, board your ferry and we will have a new rental vehicle waiting for you on the other side of Cook Strait.
